Big name NBA players such as Paul George, John Wall, and Damian Lillard are among those who will headline the dunk contest during NBA All-Star weekend.
ESPN reports that on Wednesday night, Indiana's George, Washington's Wall, and Portland's Lillard, along with last year's champion Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors, have been confirmed as entrants in the dunk contest. On Thursday, it was confirmed that Golden State's Harrison Barnes and Sacramento rookie Ben McLemore round out the group of participants who are competing.
Comcast Sports reveals how Lillard will have a busy couple of days during the NBA All-Star weekend. In addition to competing in the dunk contest, Lillard, who won Rookie of the Year last season, will also be defending his title as champ in the Skills Challenge. He will also be playing in the Rising Stars Challenge and the All-Star game on Sunday, Feb. 16. Lillard is considering taking part in the Three-Point Shootout as well because he is excited about the idea to participate in all five events, which will be history in the making since no other player has done it thus far.
