AskMen.com has released this year's Top 99 Most Desirable Women. This list celebrates the beautiful, talented and successful women in the media, business world, sports and fashion world. This year, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke made the number one spot.

Clarke plays Daenerys Targaryen, also known as Khaleesi “Mother of Dragons,” in Game of Thrones. She is a fierce leader and warrior in the show and her character’s strength is inspiring among viewers. Recently, promos for the highly anticipated fourth season have been surfacing, which could be one of the many reasons why this star was on voters' minds.

According to AskMen.com, more than one million readers voted in the 13th annual poll this year. The statement reads, “Our editorial teams in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., and Australia came up with 225 deserving nominees. After more than 1 million votes were cast internationally during the 45-day voting period, the final Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2014 list is the product of both reader and staff votes.”

Thiss year, readers were urged to base their votes and final decisions on more than just sex appeal. The list changes each and every year depending on which celebrities have the most impact on fans and readers. A lot of new ladies took this year’s list. Alison Brie, Emily Ratajkowski and Margot Robbie were all brand new and in the top 10 this year.

According to USA Today this year, TV stars dominated the list, which is usually mostly movie stars. The publisher of the site, James Bassil, said, “If you have any lingering doubts as to whether TV has surpassed Hollywood in terms of visibility and popularity, the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2014 is proof. More than a third of the finalists are from TV series.” Twenty-seven TV stars that are currently on shows or have been on shows in the past made the list.

Game of Thrones actresses made a huge impact on the list with not only the number one spot, but two other spots as well. Oona Chaplin was number 43 and Rose Leslie was number 61. Other TV shows whose stars made the list are from 2 Broke Girls, New Girl, Modern Family, Parks and Recreation and Orange is the New Black.

The final spot on the list was none other than Miley Cyrus at number 99. A lot of children of celebrities made the list as well as many female Olympians. Two pregnant stars made the list with Kerry Washington at number 7 and Olivia Wilde at number 14, along with 24 other women who are already mothers.

The youngest people on the list were three 20-year-olds, Adele Exarchopoulous at number 25, Ariana Grande at number 73 and Jen Selter at number 82. The oldest person on the list was Nigella Lawson, from The Taste, who is 54 and made number 70.

Yahoo points out that Beyonce has made the list 11 times and took the number 11 spot this year, which is a big step up from her number 39 spot on last year’s list. Several other stars jumped up on the list compared to last year's list including Kerry Washington, who went from number 46 to number 7, Emma Watson, who went from number 29 to number 5, Amy Adams, who went from number 66 to number 8, and Kate Moss who went from number 95 to number 10.

Many stars also dropped their ranking compared to last year, but still making the list is enough to prove these women still have what it takes. Mila Kunis, who was number 2 last year, was listed as number 26 this year and Miranda Kerr went from number 6 to number 46 this year. Some amazing and beautiful stars that have been on this list in the past did not make it at all this year, including Blake Lively, Megan Fox and Jessica Alba.
