Justin Bieber will have to make a decision. After his recent DUI arrest in January, Bieber has been offered a plea deal by the Florida State Attorney.
Bieber’s DUI and resisting arrest case could be dropped if the infamous singer agrees to the terms given by the authorities. Otherwise the he will face jail time according to TMZ, who first reported the news.
Bieber must agree to several conditions, including completing 40 hours of community service, attending an alcohol education program and a “victim impact panel” which entails listening to speeches from those who have lost loved ones to drunk-driving related incidents.
Also a part of the plea, Bieber must give a no contest plea to the charges of reckless driving and submit to random drug testing for the next six to nine months when entering the United States, added The Hollywood Gossip.
Finally Bieber must get an ignition interlock device put into his car for the next three months.
Under these new terms authorities would also need to be kept informed of Bieber’s whereabouts for most of 2014 in order for the random drug testing to occur.
To officially have the charges dropped, the Canadian pop star would have to pass all the drug tests and go through with the community service and programs.
