Justin Timberlake joined Jimmy Fallon, who is in his first week of hosting duties for The Tonight Show for a "History of Rap" segment.
As reported by Rolling Stone, Timberlake and Fallon performed "History of Rap" Volume 5, which included LL Cool J's "I'm Bad," hits by the Beastie Boys, Tone Loc, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Salt-N-Pepa, Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Kris Kross, Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
The duo finished their act with Run DMC's "Walk This Way.”
Timberlake was the only guest on the show for Friday night. The singer’s appearance on the show matched up with his touring dates, which landed him right at Madison Square Garden for several nights.
According to New York Daily News, Fallon stood silently on the stage as the audience cheered, then he grabbed microphones for Timberlake and himself and they proceeded to perform.
In addition to Timberlake making an appearance on the show's first week with Fallon, U2, Michelle Obama, Will Smith and more came on the show, providing a star-studded opening week.
