Lea Michele releases Cory Monteith tribute song, 'You’re Mine'

Actress and singer Lea Michele says that her new album, Louder, is moving along. "You're Mine," the latest single from the singer's debut album, premiered on iTunes today.

According to MTV, she dedicated the song to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith, who passed away in June 2013.

E! News reports that Michele said on Twitter, "It's so special to me and it's story is so close to my heart."

The song is one of the many new tracks from the album Louder, which will be released on March 4. Her first single, “Cannonball,” was released in 2013.

Michele is also known for her work on the television show, Glee. A favorite among fans, she has received three consecutive People’s Choice Awards, including a nod for Favorite TV Comedy Actress. In Glee, Michele plays Rachel Berry. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy in 2010 and 2011.

Other than her television and recording career, Michele also has a book in the works. Brunette Ambition will be released in May this year. The singer’s first book is a memoir.
