In a story that sounds reminiscent of the infamous Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield fight, a Rochester, New York man bit off his brother’s ear at the end of a Super Bowl party.
According to the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester, court documents allege that Sean Fallon-Nebbia, 27, was charged with first-degree assault after he and his 26-year-old brother Frank Fallon-Nebbia fought at a Super Bowl party in the older brother’s apartment.
The Associated Press notes that a witness told police the brothers had been drinking heavily before they started roughhousing towards the end of the game.
The two may have been trying to add some extra entertainment since the game was a snoozefest, but then things took a turn, got serious, and sent the younger brother to the hospital.
The elder Fallon-Nebbia is accused of biting off part of his brother's right ear and punching him in the face several times until he became unconscious.
He plead not guilty to the charges on Monday and is being held on a $15,000 bail.
