Fast and Furious star Michelle Rodriguez and British Supermodel Cara Delevingne are two top contenders vying for spots in an anticipated remake of the 1991 classic Thelma and Louise.
According to UPI, Rodriguez, 35, has supposedly been in talks for the role after her success in the The Fast and Furious franchise.
As of her costar, a source close to Rodriguez told the British paper The Sun, “A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, including Kirsten Stewart, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester -- but Michelle is pushing for Cara."
The Daily Mail reports that Delevingne, 21, has formed a close friendship with Rodriguez. The two were spotted together in Notting Hill this past Thursday, and there has been a talk of them moving in together.
Delevingne has recently expressed her desire to step out onto the silver screen. She is starring in Kids In Love set for an August release date in the U.K., and is currently filming a TV series called The Face Of An Angel.
The original Thelma and Louise starred veteran actresses Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis. A release date for the remake has yet to be announced.
