By Chelsea Lewis ,

With House of Cards releasing a second season for all instant streaming fans on Netflix, viewers are looking for additional original content and Netflix has announced the release date of the second season of Orange is the New Black.

USA Today reported that the show will be returning Friday, June 6.

Taylor Schilling, Natasha Lyonne and Kate Mulgrew will be returning to reprise their roles on the popular drama comedy created and produce by Netflix.

Season one ended on a huge cliff hanger and left fans wanting more almost immediately. The show will most likely be released in true Netflix style of having all episodes available for live streaming at once, encouraging fans to "binge" watch the show.

E! Online reported that the announcement about Orange came at the very end of season two of House of Cards.

Netflix has been enjoying critical acclaim for their original content and even House of Cards got an endorsement via Twitter from President Obama.

Netflix has also released a trailer for season two of Orange is the New Black.
