Pete Wentz, 34, the bassist of Fall Out Boy and host of Best Ink, and his model girlfriend, Meagan Camper have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
Wentz posted a photo to Instagram of the couple cuddling and kissing with the caption, “We’re super excited to announce we’re expecting a baby.” The couple, who has been together for three years, have been serious about their future together for a long time now. Back in January, Wentz went on the Wendy Williams Show and told Williams, “We talk about [getting married] a lot. I feel really lucky. It’s really interesting when you’re in a relationship with somebody who’s truly your best friend. I talk to her about everything.”
Wentz, who already has a 5-year-old son, Bronx, with ex-wife Ashlee Simpson, is excited to have another child. A source close to the couple told People “They’ve been planning on this for a while. And they’re really excited for Bronx to have a new little buddy.” Camper already has a great relationship with Bronx and is “naturally maternal.”
Wentz also told Williams how he believes he is not good-looking enough for her. “I’m looking at this picture, and I’m like, ‘Wow, it’s insane that she hangs out with me,’” he said laughing. “It’s like, ‘Hot girl pictures with homeless man!” Wedding bells seem to be in the future and they can’t wait to welcome a baby into the world. Congrats to the happy couple.
