HBO has released the second trailer for the upcoming season four of their hit show, Game of Thrones.
The show returns with a vengeance on April 6, and HBO isn't letting the award-winning series fade out of fans' minds.
In the second trailer for season four, which was posted Sunday on YouTube and official Game of Thrones Facebook page, all of the popular characters are back on screen paired with a few new faces.
Hollywood Life reports that HBO teased the release of this trailer with a Vine featuring Daenerys Targaryen, played by British actress Emilia Clarke. In the full trailer, the mother of dragons can be heard declaring that she, "Will do what Queens do - Rule."
The fourth season of the show is based on the third novel in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, A Storm of Swords.
Among the new characters shown in the trailer is Pedro Pascal's Oberyn Martell, also known as the Red Viper of Dorne, who will play a vital role this season.
Cersei Lannister, played by Lena Headey, ominously proclaims that for one character, "A day will come when your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth. And you'll know the debt is paid," which fans of the books will happily remember from a key scene in A Storm of Swords.
The new season of the bloody political drama premiers April 6 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
