Authorities have recovered the vehicle belonging to missing Virginia police captain, are searching for two unidentified males and now believe a shooting may also be connected to his disappearance.
According to CNN, Capt. Kevin Quick's SUV was spotted by Louisa County Sheriff deputies in a residential area on Monday and law enforcement has been looking for two men who may be connected to the 45-year-old’s disappearance.
WWBT reported on Tuesday that sources close to the investigation believe that there is a possible connection between a Sunday night shooting in which Quick's vehicle may have been used as the getaway car. The location of where his SUV was found is four miles away from where the shooting took place.
Quick was last seen leaving his mother’s house on Friday evening and was headed to see a friend, but he never showed up. His family reported him missing on Saturday.
Police have received several tips and conducted searches, but nothing has turned up. They are asking anyone with information on the officer’s whereabouts to contact authorities.
