The reactions to the viral hoax involving Blake Griffin slapping pop star Justin Bieber might be the best part of it all. A rumor began to circulate that the NBA star slapped the “As Long As You Love Me” singer in a Hollywood Starbucks, which has now been confirmed as untrue, but that didn’t stop Twitter users to post their thoughts about it.
The story claimed that Griffin got up from where he was sitting and “slapped the sh-t” out of Bieber, 19, when he was refused his caramel apple macchiato for not wearing a shirt inside the establishment.
Complex reports the consensus on Twitter has been approval of Griffin slapping Bieber, although we know it didn’t happen. Here are some reactions:
If the story about Blake Griffin smacking Beiber is true, Blake Griffin is my new favorite player. #unbeleiber

Meanwhile, Bieber changed his name on Instagram to “Bizzle” over the weekend, but it’s now changed back to ‘Justin Bieber.’
Huffington Post reports he even acknowledged the change on Twitter by retweeting some of his fans’ revelations that his Instagram name was changed.
