The upcoming Gregg Allman biopic has added three new actors to the cast. Charles Dutton, Aldis Hodge and Kathy Baker have all signed on to join the cast of the film which will be titled, Midnight Rider.
The movie will tell the story of Allman's life including showing versions of his current and younger self. Tyson Ritter and William Hurt will be portraying Allman young and old. Wyatt Russell will be playing Duane Allman, the brother of Gregg.
Already cast in the upcoming picture is Eliza Dushku, Bradley Whitford, Joel David Moore, Zoey Deutch and Chad Lindberg, Variety reported.
Midnight Rider will tell the story of how Allman struggled through the formation and success of the Allman Brothers Band. The musician was known in the media for dealing with the many excesses of rock 'n' roll but at the age of 64 Allman turned his life around and has been living clean and sober.
Filming of the movie will start at the end of this month in Georgia, The Hollywood Reporter added.
