AMC Theaters' special fan screenings of the Veronica Mars film sold out quickly, so the national theater chain added several more.
The fan screenings, hosted by AMC, are scheduled a day ahead of the film's theatrical release, reports Variety.
Seventeen theaters were selected for these special events, and more showtimes will be added to a select bunch of those same theaters.
According to TheWrap, tickets for these special screenings went up at 9 a.m., but didn't last very long.
The events were put together by AMC and Warner Bros. in honor of the fans that eagerly helped get the movie funded and made.
Creator Rob Thomas took to Kickstarter looking for $2 million and was able to hit that amount the very same day it went live.
Veronica Mars is set to hit theaters nationwide March 14 and the events are held on March 13. Tickets for the normal screenings of the Kristen Bell-starring film will be available starting on Friday.
