The now famous 'Batkid' aka Miles Scott has been enjoying life since not being able to present at the Oscars. He recently spent time with Spider-Man himself, Andrew Garfield, at Disneyland and has now received an invitation to attend the premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
US Magazine reported that Garfield invited Scott, who is recovering from lymphoblastic leukemia, to the premiere of his upcoming film in New York City on April 24.
Garfield and Miles were scheduled to present video tribute about superheroes together at the Academy Awards but the segment was cut by producers because of timing and logistics. Instead Avengers star Chris Evan introduced the montage.
The Academy released an official statement regarding the incident, "Due to the nature of a live show, hard decisions sometimes must be made which require the Academy to cut segments due to the logistics of production," said the official statement, The Daily Mail reported.
Garfield was not about to let Miles be disappointed, instead making his dream of spending time with a on-camera super hero come true.
The Amazing Spider Man 2 is set to swing into theaters on May 2nd.
