Baltimore Ravens' Jah Reid arrested in Florida

Baltimore Ravens' Jah Reid was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery early Sunday morning after an altercation at a strip club in Key West, Florida.

According to the Associated Press, authorities have said that the reserve offensive lineman was involved in a fight with another patron, Edmond Mussa, at the Red Garter Saloon when Mussa bumped into him. The men exchanged words and then Reid head-butted Mussa, got him to the ground and continuously kicked him. Ried also reportedly punched a security guard who was trying to break up the fight.

“We have learned of the situation and are gathering information," said Ravens director of public relations Chad Steele.

The Baltimore Sun noted that the 25-year-old is the third player from the team to be arrested in 22 days followed by running back Ray Rice’s domestic violence dispute and reserve wide receiver Deonte Thompson's possession of marijuana charge.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said that Reid was arrested on two counts of battery and released Sunday on $2,000 bail.
