Bruce Springsteen has been spending his time on the road promoting his latest album, High Hopes. He is now taking his Hopes journey one step forward with a documentary that will focus on the recording of his 18th studio album.
HBO will be airing Bruce Springsteen's High Hopes on Friday, April 4 at 9:30 p.m., The Hollywood Reporter noted.
High Hopes debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The documentary will provide insider access into how that album was created, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Thom Zimny directed the 30-minute documentary and described the film as eels back the curtain on how Springsteen works and records a whole album.
This is not the first time that Zimny and Springsteen have teamed up. The duo worked together on the documentary The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town.
Along with a tour and a chart topping album, The E Street Band will be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame on April 10.
