CBS sets season finales, 'Survivor' gets two-hour block and 'How I Met Your Mother' finishes with hour-long episode

The networks are getting prepared to say goodbye to another eventful television season. CBS has announced its season finale dates, confirming when How I Met Your Mother’s story will finally end and just how long it will take for the latest Survivor season to end.

Back in December, CBS announced that HIMYM will finish its ninth and final season on March 31 with an hour-long episode. Today, CBS confirmed that this is still the plan. Audiences who have listened to Ted (Josh Radnor) ramble on for nine years will finally figure out how he met the Mother (Cristin Milioti).

Intelligence, which was not one of the shows renewed last week, will likely be ending its only season on March 31 at 10 p.m.

The next season finale isn’t until Anna Faris’ Mom ends its freshman season on Monday, April 14. That same week, The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams ends its run on Thursday, April 17 with an hour-long show. It has not been renewed yet either.

2 Broke Girls closes out another season on Monday, May 5. CSI’s season ends on May 7. Two and a Half Men will end its season on Thursday, May 8.

Friday, May 8 sees the end of Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods.

All three of CBS’ hit Tuesday shows - NCIS, NCIS: LA and Person of Interest - will be ending their seasons on May 13.

The Criminal Minds season finale is set for Wednesday, May 14. The next day will see the season finales of The Big Bang Theory, freshman The Millers and Elementary.

The Amazing Race, The Good Wife and The Mentalist end their seasons on Sunday, May 18.

Since it got a late start this season, Mike & Molly doesn’t end until Monday, May 19.

Survivor takes over Wednesday, May 21 with a two-hour finale plus a reunion special.

ABC announced its finale schedule on Wednesday.
