This year will be the last season for Chelsea Handler’s late night show Chelsea Lately.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Handler’s manager Irving Azoff said, “Chelsea intends to leave when her contract expires. She hired me to figure out her life after E!”
Azoff also told The Hollywood Reporter that Handler has at least seven suitors and many ideas including a possible radio presence and a show on another network or digital service.
The eighth and last year for the E! channel show will not be all too saddening for Handler who has been clear about her dissatisfaction with the the network.
On The Howard Stern Show she stated, “They don’t know what they’re doing. They have no ideas. It’s a failure.” Handler also called E! “a sad, sad place to live,” stated US Weekly.
The E! network has not made any comments on the future of Chelsea Lately but a spokesperson stated to The Hollywood Reporter that “Chelsea has nine months left on her contract” with E!.
