Cobie Smulder talks life after 'How I Met Your Mother'

By Alesandria Posada,

How I Met Your Mother star, Cobie Smulders opened up to Fashion Magazine about life after the hit television show, which is set to end after this season.

Last Friday, Smulders tweeted she was “so grateful” to have played the role of Robin Scherbatsky after the CBS sitcom wrapped up their last day of shooting for the final episode of the nine-year series, according to E! News.

"I had to choose between three projects…I decided to go with How I Met Your Mother, which was the best call," she said in the latest issue of Fashion, coming out in April. "I would've been so pissed off if I had gone the other way, don't you think?"

The brunette beauty took the time to reflect on the character she played for almost a decade, saying Robin emotionally grew.

With the end of the series, Smulders is looking to play a more vulnerable role.

I'm always playing the strong, smart woman – I'm looking to play somebody a little bit more fractured, a little weaker,” she said.

The starlet already has a great film career started as she played the voice of Wonder Woman in The Lego Movie, according to Daily Mail. She also stars in the upcoming romantic parody, They Came Together, and will be filming Avengers: Age of Ultron.
