P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Diddy, or whatever rapper Sean Combs is going by these days, has changed his name once again. Over the past 20 years, the 44-year-old has changed his name so many times that nobody really knows what to call him anymore.
He was born Sean John Combs, and then, according to MTV News, went from Puff, to Puff Daddy, to Puffy, to PuffMagicDiddy, Diddy, P. Diddy and now he is back to Puff Daddy. In a preview trailer for his “Big Homie” music video with French Montana and Rick Ross, the credits refer to him as Puff Daddy.
Monday night, he even tweeted, “For the record, I did not change my name. I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! :) Be cool Man lol #MMM #BigHomie.” Despite this announcement, his twitter handle remains @iamdiddy.

In March 2001, when Combs wanted to turn over a new leaf, he told MTV News, “No more Puff Daddy."
"We’re gonna have a name change ceremony,” he said. “I’m not doing it as serious as Prince [but] I just want something fresh…I’m rockin’ with P. Diddy now.” Well, not for long, apparently.
Hot New Hip Hop reports the name changes comes with his new album, MMM, coming out soon. It’s unclear if this name is just for MM or if this is permanent. With his track record, he probably won’t be Puff Daddy forever.
