Drake's PR firm cuts ties after 'Rolling Stone' cover diaster

Rapper Drake is in need of a new PR firm, after ID-PR has ended their association with him over the remarks he made about not being on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Billboard exclusively reports how ID-PR is closing their working relationship with Drake after he blasted Rolling Stone for putting the late Philip Seymour Hoffman on its cover instead of him. For the last year, ID-PR had worked alongside Drake to help promote his new album, Nothing Was The Sameand tour, Would You Like A Tour?. ID-PR had organized for Drake to be on the cover of Rolling Stone, but when they yanked Drake to put Seymour Hoffman on the cover Drake went on Twitter and blasted them for replacing him.

Drake later apologized for his remarks and later explained how, “Today I was forced out of my character and felt the need to react swiftly." According to some, Drake has a reputation for being hard to work with when it comes to setting up interviews and photo shoots with the media.

Radar Online states how ID-PR, in addition to working with Drake, also works with Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams.
