First official image from Batman prequel Gotham shows off Donal Logue as Bullock

By Daniel S Levine,

The first official image from Gotham, the Batman prequel in the works for Fox, has been released. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show the lead character, Detective Jim Gordon. Instead, his partner, Harvey Bullock gets the spotlight.

In the picture, Sons of Anarchy actor Donal Logue is shown with his hands in his pockets, looking down. He’s wearing a leather jacket and fedora. The Gotham city skyline is behind him with the Bat Signal lighting up the sky.

Logue joined the cast last month. Bullock is Gordon’s no-nonsense partner. In addition to Sons of Anarchy, Logue also appeared in BBC America’s Copper.

The most recent casting news for the show involves the younger cast. David Mazouz (Touch) was tapped to play a young Bruce Wayne and Camren Bicondova will play Selina Kyle.

Ben McKenzie stars in the pilot as Gordon. Fox already put in a series commitment for the Warner Bros. TV production. Bruno Heller (The Mentalist) wrote the pilot and is executive producing.
