Fox announces release dates for 'Wolverine,' ‘Fantastic Four’ sequels and a unknown Marvel project

Twentieth Century Fox is on a mission to take on Marvel/Disney and have announced several release dates for upcoming films to try to attempt to get a larger share of the comic book feature film industry.

While filming on the first “Fantastic Four” has yet to begin, the studio will release “Fantastic Four 2″ on July 14, 2017, while another “Wolverine” installment will bow March 3, 2017.

Fox has not even started production on the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot but the sequel to the film will be arriving in theaters on July 14, 2017 and another Wolverine installment will be released on March 3, 2017.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot is currently set to star Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Miles Teller and will arrive in theaters on June 19, 2015.

Fox also announced they are doing a project with Marvel that will be released on July 13, 2018, Variety reported. No more information was released.

The first major comic book feature that will be coming from Fox is X-Men: Days of Future Past, which has incredible star power including, Hugh Jackman, Micahel Fassbender and Hale Berry.
