Fox announced on Friday that the network had renewed three of its comedies along with psychological thriller The Following.
Freshman comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, as well as The Mindy Project and New Girl were all picked up for another season. Mindy will get a third season and New Girl will have a fourth.
Kevin Bacon's The Following was renewed for its third season, joining other previously renewed shows, Sleepy Hollow, Glee and Bones for the 2014-15 season.
Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly and COO Joe Earley said, "These shows are some of the best and acclaimed series on television, with influential, culture-driving stars, and some of the best, most creative talent behind the camera."
None of the shows renewed are particularly shocking as all have been doing fairly well, with the exception of Bacon's drama. Brooklyn is the newest of the shows and has done well in the ratings and star Andy Samberg won a Golden Globe for the show.
Though more renewals could follow, the fall lineup is looking more and more complete. The Hollywood Reporter notes that the returning shows will be joined by several straight to series programs already ordered, including another Seth MacFarlane animated show Bordertown, Mulaney and Hieroglyph.
