She is currently dating guitarist Jack Antonoff, 29.

Dunham, 27, continued to embarrass Fallon with her declaration of admiration for the host.

"She said it like we had a previous relationship, like you were my first boyfriend but things didn't work out and she thought we could get back together," said Dunham. "Not like I have 50 magazine covers of you in my bathroom."

People reports that Dunham was spotted at Troubadour in West Hollywood supporting her beau Antonoff.

A sourced revealed that Dunham was completely into the show and showed her support to her rock star boyfriend. "She bopped her head and occasionally pointed to the stage and whispered in her friends' ears with a big smile on her face as though she was so proud of her man," the source told People. "It was clear she was focused on him the entire night.”

Dunham posted a picture of them relaxing and lounging around. She captioned the picture with, “Proud as heck of this guy, who brought down the house at The Troubadour tonight.”

HBO's Girls wraps up its third season this Sunday.
