'Girls' star Andrew Rannells wants Hugh Jackman to play his boyfriend

By Elaine Alluin ,

HBO’s hit show Girls has taken the nation by storm with hipster witty drama. Andrew Rannells, who plays the role of Elijah, hopes to have some gay sex on the upcoming fourth season of the show, and wants A-list actor Hugh Jackman to play his boyfriend.

E! Online reports that Rannells was very vocal about wanting Jackman to be his future love interest.

He said, “Always and forever it will be Hugh Jackman.” Rannells went on to say that he isn’t shy about engaging in guy-on-guy action on camera.

"I volunteered myself for nakedness," said Rannells. "I feel like with Looking on the air, I gotta represent some gay sex on the show. I'm willing."

Switching gears to some off-screen news, Rannells' co-star Allison Williams, who plays the role of Marnie, is having better luck in love than her character. People reports that the actress recently got engaged to Ricky Van Veen. The couple dated for three years prior to the proposal.

Show creator and actress Lena Dunham played a prank on Williams when the news of the engagement surfaced.

“Lena has already threatened to hide my engagement ring, which I really hope she doesn’t do,” said Williams. “She’s like, ‘We’re gonna have to find ways to hide it while we’re shooting.’ I was like, ‘Okay, then I’m going to hide it on part of my body that you can’t see.’ I know she’s obviously kidding.”

Williams has yet to set a date for her big day.
