Grant Gustin, the actor who will play Barry Allen and The Flash in The CW’s pilot, has revealed the full costume for the super speedster. Late last month, he revealed the mask he will be wearing.
The former Glee actor has been playing Barry Allen on Arrow, which The Flash will spin off from. The CW initially planned on airing a put-pilot for Flash during Arrow, but eventually decided to air a solo Flash pilot instead.
The cast also includes Jesse L. Martin, Rick Cosnett, Danielle Panabaker, Candace Parker and Carlos Valdes. John Wesley Shipp, who played the Flash during the short-lived early 1990s series, will also make an appearance in the pilot.
Like the previous preview image, Gustin used social media to share the first full picture of Flash’s costume. It looks a bit different from what comic book fans are used to, but retains the familiar red and yellow color scheme.
The costume was designed by Oscar winner Colleen Atwood.
