Jason Bateman has revealed in a new interview with GQ that he swears around his 2-year-old daughter because she has no idea what the words mean.
He does refrain from cursing around his 7-year-old daughter because she will know what he’s saying and will likely repeat it.
The Bad Words actor explained to GQ about curse words, "I tend to use as many as I can think of.” He said his favorite curse word phrase is “mother f---er.”
“I don't do it around my 7-year-old, but I do around my 2-year-old, because she doesn't know what the hell I'm saying yet,” he said.
The makes his directorial debut in the movie, which is about his character entering a spelling bee for children. “I've got a pretty good idea about what kind of set you need to run to get the best out of everybody,” he said. “And usually that's a set that's not being run by an a--hole. To put it bluntly.”
"My daughters will never see this movie," he said, People reports.
Bad Words this theaters March 28.
