Actors and crew are gearing up for a sequel to the movie, Magic Mike.
There is a lot of buzz involved in preparations for the sequel. Channing Tatum revealed that a Magic Mike sequel was in the works. He is co-writing the script with Reid Carolin, who wrote the original. According to The Huffington Post, actor Joe Manganiello said, “I think they’re going to announce it soon. It was the most fun I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to get back in and mix it up with those guys.”
Some actors are on board and prepared for the sequel. Manganiello said the movie will be shooting later this Autumn, according to the Daily Mail.
Magic Mike was a hit movie with critics and moviegoers. It was directed by Steven Soderburgh, and was an important role for actor, Matthew McConaughey. The first film grossed over $167 million globally, a stunning success given the budget of just over $7 million. Rumors are circulating that Tatum is planning to co-direct the new film.
