Fans of the Beatles will have a chance to own a piece of history. It was recently announced that John Lennon's drawings and manuscripts are coming to auction.
Sotheby's announced that a unique collection of Lennon's materials will be up for sale at an upcoming auction on June 4th. The sale will be taking place in New York and is titled "You Might Well Arsk," AP reported.
The items that are being sold are expected to sell for around $40,000 to $60,000 but other pre-sale estimates have the items going for closer to $100,000. This collection is being considered to be one of the largest collections of drawings and notes from the late Beatles superstar, The New York Daily News detailed.
The items that are being put up for sale are from Tom Maschler. Maschler worked with Lennon on In His Own Write and A Spaniard in the Works. Lennon wrote the books and did the artwork for them as well, the books were released back in the 1960s.
