Juan Pablo had an unusual finish to the finale of The Bachelor last night when he did not propose to either of the final girls on the show.
Pablo shocked the crowd on the season finale when he did not propose to either girl, but he gave out his last rose to Nikki, 26, the pediatric nurse. He ended up sending home the hairdresser, Clare, because he did not feel as strongly for her.
According to CBS News, Pablo started out by introducing Clare to his family and then, on a different day, Nikki met his extended family. Both learned from his family that Pablo is not the easiest person to have a relationship with because of his brutal honesty.
"I don't have words for it, how I feel right now. He chose to tell me something that no woman wants to hear. That he really doesn't know me and some sexual thing I don't want to repeat. It was insulting, it was offensive and it just made me feel awful," Clare said.
When Clare was sent home it was not easy for Pablo, but he said that he has to do what’s best for him.
The most shocking part of the show was when Nikki was with him at the end and he said, "I have a ring here in my pocket and I'm not going to use it . . . I'm not 100% sure I want to propose to you, but at the same time I'm 100% sure I don't want to let you go."
As earlier reported by New York Daily News, in the After the Rose special, it is clear that Nikki accepted the rose and that the two are still together, but Pablo still has not said those three famous words to her.
