Lindsay Lohan is going to be back at the center of attention for the next few weeks, as her OWN reality series is set to premiere Sunday. She will also try to show off her comedy chops again during an appearance on CBS’ hit series 2 Broke Girls.
CBS announced late Wednesday that the troubled actress will appear on the show, which stars Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings as Caroline and Max. Lohan has been cast as Claire Guinness, who is about to get married. She hires Max and Caroline to make her wedding cake, but she has trouble making decisions.
Lohan has been taking gigs on comedies as of late. She appeared on Glee, Charlie Sheen’s Anger Management and hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live last season.
Of course, Lohan’s highest profile gig at the moment is the OWN series. The first clip for the show was released earlier this week and shows Oprah Winfrey confronting Lohan. She tells Lohan to “cut the bulls—t.”
Meanwhile, some observers are suggesting that Winfrey is exploiting Lohan, notes Fox News. “Everyone is exploiting Lohan and she is not well enough to realize this,” Janina Kean of High Watch Recovery Center in Connecticut told Fox. Human behavior expert Patrick Wanis, PhD added that, “If Oprah really wanted to help, she wouldn’t need to employ cameras.”
Lohan premieres on OWN on Sunday night. Her 2 Broke Girls episode airs on Monday, April 14.
