It didn’t take a long time for Selena Gomez’s new home to be trespassed. On Sunday night while the famous singer and actress was home, authorities arrested a 20-year-old man who had broken into the guesthouse for burglary and trespassing.

Gomez arrived at her new home in Calabasas, Calif., with a friend however heard a strange noise and as a result requested her security to check out the disturbance, reported The Garden Island.

Following the sound, the suspect knocked on Gomez’s front door and asked if she was home. After saying she was not, Gomez’s friend closed the door and authorities found the man later in the guest home, reported TMZ.

The man, Cruz Che, is being held on $50,000 bail.

As recently reported, Gomez bought the new home only days before the break in for $3 million. She bought the 7,200 sq ft home right after ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber sold his Calabasas home to reality star, Khloe Kardashian.
