Like a scene right out of the horror flick Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a man was allegedly stalking his ex-wife in a “human skin” mask.
According to the New York Daily News, the suspect was apprehended by authorities in the Xiaoshan district of Hangzhou early last week.
After his arrest, the man allegedly said that he wanted to scare his former wife in a “revenge” plot, however, the weapons officials found on him suggests a more sinister plot.
Shanghaiist reported that upon searching the suspect, they found a large knife and a bottle of pepper spray.
Silicone masks, like the disguise the suspect was wearing, are actually becoming quite popular at online stores in China, even though it is illegal to purchase them, the World of Chinese website noted.
Officials did not say what caused the breakup or how long the man and woman have been separated, but it doesn’t seem like they are going to get back together anytime soon.
