By Kyle Johnson,

Weeds alum Mary-Louise is set to return to television after signing on for NBC's new comedy pilot, Feed Me.

According to Deadline, the network and chairman Bob Greenblatt had been looking to get the actress to join one of their pilots for awhile now and Feed Me interested Parker the most.

The show is set to be a single-camera comedy, with the pilot script written by Sally Robinson. Paul Junger Witt and Tony Thomas are set to executive produce, while Parker will just produce.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Feed Me is a comedy about a family that all run a restaurant together and must come together after daughter Ellen discovers her husband is having an affair.

Parker will play Ellen, who is described as an accountant and mother of two, who is slightly obsessive-compulsive. Those around her often get frustrated with her because she is often stuck in her ways.

Parker has recently finished filming on the Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie Christmas in Conway and was recently in the films R.I.P.D. and Behaving Badly.
