Rick Ross worked with an all-star cast in his recently released album, Mastermind.
According to the Associated Press, Ross’ 16-track set was co-executive produced by Diddy, who created albums for the Notorious B.I.G, among others.
Mastermind is a compilation of songs by the rapper whose birth name is William Leonard Roberts II. Throughout the album, Ross is asking fans to "hear him." The album features tracks like “’Thug Cry” and “Sanctified.”
Diddy also appears on the album. On the track, "Nobody," the Bad Boy CEO says, "I'm trying push you to supreme being, you don't wanna embrace your destiny," according to MTV.
Rick Ross is an American rapper who was signed to Diddy’s management company, Ciroc Entertainment in 2012. Mastermind was released by Maybach Music Group/ Def Jam.
Ross’ previous albums include Deeper Than Rap, Teflon Don, and God Forgives, I Don’t. He has been known to exchange some tough words, and was involved in a feud with rapper 50 Cent at the BET Awards in January, 2009.
