Miley Cyrus is finding time to still record new music while on the road with her Bangerz tour. Cyrus will be recording with the Flaming Lips.
Flaming Lips frontman, Wayne Coyn, took to his Instagram account to post a few pictures of Cyrus and the group working together. One featured Cyrus in studio and the other was of Cyrus and Coyn preparing some natural herbs that had been rolled in Bangerz paper, Pitchfork reported.
This is not the first time that Cyrus and the band have worked together. The Flaming Lips and Cyrus performed on stage together during one of the stops of the Bangerz tour at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. They performed "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots," Billboard reported.
No reports have been released if the recording session would result in music that would be featured on an upcoming record for Cyrus or The Flaming Lips.
New music hasn't been heard from The Flaming Lips in over a year since they released The Terror, which came close to breaking into the top 20 on the Billboard charts.
