“White Liar” singer Miranda Lambert released exciting news that she will be singing a duet with Carrie Underwood on her new album Platinum.
The album is set to release on June 6 and will feature the duet. The song is called “Something Bad” and is an “in your face” song.
Miranda Lambert is an Underwood fan, according to the Associated Press as reported by Country Weekly. She adds that singing with Underwood is “very, very intimidating. She is an amazing vocalist. I’m a big fan of hers. Asking her to do this was nerve-racking.”
As earlier reported by Country Weekly, Lambert hopes that some of her fire-starter attitude will be transferred to Underwood when it’s time to film the music video.
“I’m hoping she’ll come to the dark side and blow something up or set something on fire in the video or whatever,” Lambert said.
In addition to “Something Bad,” Lambert’s current single is “Automatic.” There are actually 14 other songs that her fans do not know about yet. According to CMT, Keith Urban was offered to sing vocals in a song in addition to Justin Moore and Dierks Bentley.
