MMA fight ends after only five seconds

An MMA fight in Nevada lasted a mere five seconds before one fighter got the knockout.

According to the Mirror, at a recent Mayhem in Mesquite IV show, Corey Conway gave A.J. Leone a mean right hook just five seconds into the match. And when Leone fell backward the referee called the fight.

It was so quick that anyone who did not arrive to their seats on time missed the entire thing.

The 18-year-old spent a bit more time doing victory laps around the octagon then he did actually fighting.

The moment for Conway was not only special because of the sheer time in which he got the knockout, but also because it was his MMA debut.

This match, however, was not the first time an MMA fight lasted only five seconds.

The Bleacher Report noted that back in 2012, a women’s bout lasted the same amount of time when Veronica Rothenhausler delivered her opponent Ashlee Evans-Smith a knockout punch.
