New 'Bachelor' spin off receives greenlight from ABC

In case fans have not had enough of ABC's The Bachelor, another spin off is coming. The network has just given the greenlight to Bachelor in Paradise.

The show will focus on past contestants who are sent to a tropical location. The contestants will live together and will keep on searching for true love, The Hollywood Reporter added.

ABC has only ordered six episodes of the upcoming spin off which will be produced by Mike Fleiss, who is known for his work on the Bachelor series. Production company Warner Horizon TV will be overseeing the project.

The network described the upcoming show saying that it will feature what Bachelor fans loves. The network explained this show will, "Feature new twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history, plus all the usual romance, drama and tears we've come to expect from the Bachelor franchise," said ABC representatives.

This season of the Bachelor was full of drama and controversy with headlines surrounding Juan Pablo. Following the conclusion of Pablo's season it was announced that Andi Dorfman would be the new Bachelorette, ABC reported.
