Nick at Nite’s See Dad Run will not be running any longer. The show, which starred former Happy Days actor Scott Baio, has been cancelled.
See Dad Run will finish out the rest of its 20-episode second season, which includes just five more episodes, notes Deadline, which first reported the news. Season three will air later this year with 13 episodes. After production wraps on that season, there will be no further episodes shot. There will also be an hour-long finale.
The show was Nick at Nite’s first original scripted show and aired alongside TV classics that make up Nickelodeon’s late night block. AV Club notes that the network also cancelled Jerry Trainor’s Wendell & Vinnie.
Instant Mom is Nick at Nite’s only scripted series still in production.
Tina Albanese and Patrick Labyorteaux created the show, in which Baio played a stay-at-home dad. His wife was played by Alanna Ubach and Jackson Brundage played one of his sons. You can read our interview with him here.
