The mother of the late Paul Walker has reportedly agreed to drop her bid for custody of Walker's teenage daughter, Meadow, if Meadow's mother Rebecca Soteros agrees to go into rehab.
In Touch Weekly reported that Walker's mom, Cheryl Walker, has come to an agreement with Soteros to not go after custody of Meadow if Soteros checks herself into rehab.
Soteros reportedly has a dangerous problem with alcohol and has one DUI, as well as a case pending in Hawaii. Due to her drinking problem, Soteros' daughter Meadow moved away three years ago from Hawaii to Los Angeles to live with her dad.
Walker's mom Cheryl has told Soteros that if she completes her rehab treatment and takes a drug test, she can have custody of Meadow.
TMZ also reported that Soteros agreed to abide by Cheryl Walker's demands and will go to rehab.
Soteros claimed that Meadow is the most important person in her life and she knew things would not go her way in court if she didn't agree to Walker's request. On Friday, March 28th, Soteros began her road to recovery by joining a detox program. In the meantime, her daughter will continue to stay with her late dad's family.
