The Pixies will release their first full-length CD since they released Trompe Le Monde back in 1991. The new full-length album will feature songs that might be familiar to people who have been following the band's career.
The new album will be titled Indie Cindy. This album will feature all of the songs that have been on the band's past four-song EPs, Billboard reported.
The tracks have been shuffled and will appear in a different order on Indie Cindy.
The new album will be available for fans to purchase on April 29 in North America. The release dates will differ based upon geographic location, The Guardian reported. The album is being distributed through the Pixies' own label, Pixiesmusic.
All of the songs have been produced by Gil Norton and were recorded back in 2012 in Wales at the Rockfield Studios.
Black Francis, the leader of the band, recently spoke about the album in a previous interview with Billboard. "I think we've pulled together a record that is as close to the Pixies as we can get it," said Francis.
