On Tuesday, President Obama made an appearance with comedian Zach Galifianakis on the web series Between Two Ferns on the website Funny or Die.
During the show, Galifianakis asks awkward questions to his celebrity guests. The episode with President Obama is no different.
During the episode, as stated by ABC News, Galifianakis asks President Obama questions such as: “What is it like to be the last black president?” to which President Obama replies, “What is it like for this to be the last time you ever talk to a president?”
President Obama also takes his turn taking jabs at Galifianakis as he suggests that Bradley Cooper carried “those” movies. In saying “those” he was referring to the three installments of The Hangover movies.
Galifianakis replied that it was easy to be in Hollywood when you have the looks of Bradley Cooper. “Being like that in Hollywood, that’s easy. Tall and handsome, that’s easy,” Galifianakis said. “Be short, fat, and smell like Doritos and try to make it in Hollywood.”
According to the Associated Press, Obama’s appearance on the web series was a way for Obama to reach younger Americans about the health care sign-ups that have a March 31 deadline.
When asked if President Obama would like to have a third term, which constitutionally is prohibited, Obama was quick to make another joke about The Hangover franchise.
“If I ran again it would be sort of like doing a third Hangover movie. It didn’t really work out very well, did it?”
