Movie star Robert Wagner has penned a new book, celebrating the glory of old Hollywood. You Must Remember This: Life and Style in Hollywood’s Golden Age was released by Viking.
Wagner is reflective in the book and quick to give his opinions. According to the Associated Press, he wrote, “It was a lesson to me that nothing lasts forever. Except the movies."
You Must Remember This: Life and Style in Hollywood’s Golden Age was written by Wagner with Scott Eyman. The book discusses Wagner’s early career and his move to Bel Air when he was 7.
According to Vanity Fair, which published an excerpt, the book discusses the Hollywood of the 30s and 40s. He writes about the extraordinary mansions of Hollywood. The book mentions James Cagney’s house in Beverly Hills. Fred Astaire and James Stewart are also mentioned.
Wagner was the popular actor on the television series Hart to Hart. He was nominated for a number of Golden Globes for the series. He has also appeared in several tv movies and a number of films including Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. He made several movies with iconic stars, like The Longest Day and The Pink Panther.
