Samsung to compete on the music market with new Milk Music

By Brady Kirkland,

Watch out Spotify, Pandora, and iTunes Radio! Korean technology giant Samsung unveiled its brand new music streaming service on Friday.

Tech Times reports the new Samsung service called Milk Music has officially become accessible through the Google Play store. It is currently capable of streaming customized music, as well as live radio. How does this differ from other streaming applications? Milk Music is an ad-free listening experience.

Gregory Lee, head of Samsung Telecommunications America and the Samsung Electronics North America headquarters, told the press that the new service is focused on creating the best experience for the consumer.

“We’re offering consumers amazing, rich, music experiences built around what matters most to them and their lifestyle,” Lee says.

According to the New York Daily News, Samsung is also promoting Milk Music to be free of any delays or long pauses when consumers choose a new song or station.

At the moment, the service may only be used with Samsung Galaxy devices.
