After two months in a Chicago rehab facility for an eating disorder, "Tik Tok" singer Kesha is back home and no longer Ke$ha.
According to CNN, Kesha tweeted a photo of herself on a plane announcing her return. She tweeted, “Life is beautiful. I’m so blessed to have you all.”
“Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music I can’t thank my fans enough for all the love & support you have given me,” she continued tweeting Thursday night, according to Celebuzz.
The 27-year-old checked into rehab in January after her producer Dr. Luke supposedly called her a “f---ing refrigerator,” Celebuzz reported.
Kesha’s mom, Pebe Sebert, has long believed Dr. Luke's fat shaming led to her daughter’s disorder, but Luke has denied the allegations, according to Billboard.
In January, the “Timber” singer told E! Online, “I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I’ve found it hard to practice.”
Kesha is ready for her new start. The singer dropped the dollar sign from her name, indicating she's taking herself more seriously now. She was spotted at LAX with a sweater that read “Ima Survivor.”
