Supposed former roommate of Kurt Cobain selling personal items

By Chelsea Lewis ,

A supposed former roommate of Nirvana's front man, Kurt Cobain, is selling a variety of personal items including skis, a video game and a telephone of Cobain's.

Radio.com reported that these items are being sold on Craigslist.

The items are going for cheap on the website, the phone is going for $55 and the video game is priced at $25. The skis are going for $80 and the roommate described them as good skis, but they are even cooler because Cobain owned them.

According to this roommate, Cobain left a box of stuff when he moved out. The former roommate explained that Cobain owed them rent and that he left the box to be picked up upon paying rent, Billboard reported.

This former roommate also noted that he has other items from Cobain that he will be selling sometime in the future.

The seller updated his original post and explained that he used to play bass in Gruntruck, which was a Seattle rock band that had opened for Alive in Chains. He claims that he lived with the Nirvana frontman in Capitol Hill and Olympia, Wash.

Nirvana will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.
