The cast for Judd Apatow’s next movie, Trainwreck just keeps growing. Tilda Swinton, Barkhad Abdi and wrestler John Cena are among the many stars who joined the project on Tuesday.
Several of the trades each reported their own exclusives on who could star in the film. Swinton’s casting was reported by TheWrap, which said that the Oscar winner is in talks to play the boss of Amy Schumer’s lead character. She’s close to signing on to play the part.
The hollywood Reporter confirmed Cena’s casting. The site also reported that Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live) and Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being A Wallflower) also joined up for supporting parts. Miller previously worked with Swinton as the title character in We Need To Talk About Kevin.
Lastly, Variety reported that Captain Phillips star Abdi will have a role in the film. Phillips earned him an Oscar nomination and plenty of Hollywood attention, although he didn’t win.
The casting of Mike Birbiglia (The Fault in Our Stars) and John Glaser (Girls, Parks and Recreation) was also reported by Variety.
Trainwreck was written by Schumer, who currently stars on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer.
